Shinsengumi VS. Yorozuya - Cardboard Panorama

I was digging through my hard drive when I found this photograph of an art project I did either in grade 11 (2006-2007) or grade 12 (2007-2008). The characters and buildings is acrylic paint directly on cardboard, and the 'ground' is construction paper. This could have been done much better, but I was pretty happy considering the fact that this was done on regular cardboard. I remember having some issues with it 'curling up' with the moisture, but putting the dry pieces between two flat surfaces did the trick.

I know I have more angles of the project elsewhere, but meh, this will do. The buildings are complete with the full kanji signs.

And I guess at the time, I didn't think Kondo would be a suitable opponent for Shinpachi. ._. If I ever re-did this, I'd probably stick Kondo in place of Yamazaki, and Otae with Shinpachi, ready to kill gorilla.
